Who we are
Jay’s Angels Haven Of Hope is a dedicated Animal Welfare Organization focused on saving homeless cats and dogs from kill-shelters as well as Owner Surrenders. We provide a safe haven for these animals by offering them love, medical care and the opportunity for a fresh start.
Volunteering is essential to our rescue, helping us rescue, socialize, rehabilitate to those that deserve a second chance. You will be enriching the lives of so many animals in need. Whether you would like to dedicate your time helping cats or dogs, or assisting with fundraising, adoption events or transporting animals to events, vet appointments or foster/forever homes.

Shadow
Pipsqueak aka Vera
This black beauty came into our rescue in October 2025.
While searching for a lost cat, this little girl was spotted amongst a colony that was being cared for by a local resident. Pipsqueak was a product of one of the unaltered females in that colony which we later had trapped, spayed, vaccinated and released.
Pipsqueak was approximately 15 weeks old and immediately treated by a veterinarian for her upper respiratory infection, then a few weeks later she was vaccinated and spayed.
It didn’t take long for her to find her forever home just before the holidays. She now resides with a family that loves her and has a fur brother kitty, Utica.
Her life as a stray is over and her new name is Vera.
Shadow’s journey truly captures the heart of rescue work! It’s wonderful to celebrate his new chapter in 2026.
We took Shadow into our rescue in his final hour when a local shelter had him listed for euthanasia. Being the first dog pulled by Jay’s Angels Haven Of Hope makes him that much more special. He has settled nicely into his foster to adopt home where he will be loved and cherished in his golden years.
